Oscar and Jodie Cortez have a milestone coming up one week from today...their 10th wedding anniversary! The "official gift" for a 10 year anniversary is tin or aluminum. Supposedly, the reason for this is that the pliability of tin and aluminum is a symbol of how a successful marriage needs to be flexible and durable and also symbolizes how it can be bent without being broken.

Being a friend of Oscar and Jodie, I'm sure you have witnessed how their faith and love for each other and Christ has been proven to be genuine no matter what the circumstance. They are truly humble servants of their Lord who have experienced more pain and more love in their first decade of marriage than many do in a lifetime. Their friendship is a blessing to all of us who know them! Even though their daily lives are incredibly busy, they prioritize giving of their time and talents to family, friends, the local church and the worldwide church through their dedication to missions.

Bottom line: Oscar and Jodie need (and deserve!) a vacation! And who better to give them one than all of us - their biggest fans!
